The monument is a composition of figures of pilots from three eras: the moment of the foundation of Russian aviation, the times of the Great Patriotic War and modern aviation.

Viktor Vasilevich Talalikhin was a Soviet military pilot, second lieutenant, the Hero of the Soviet Union.

P.M. Vostrukhin (1921-1943) was an ace pilot, senior pilot of the 271st Fighter Aviation Regiment, Lieutenant, the Hero of the Soviet Union.

Alexey Stepanovich Khlobystov was a fighter pilot, captain of the Guards, Hero of the Soviet Union.

Evgeny Vitalievich Mikhailov was a senior pilot of the 32nd Guards Fighter Aviation Regiment.

Ivan Semyonovich Polbin was a bomber pilot, participant in the battles on Khalkhin Gol and the Great Patriotic War, twice Hero of the Soviet Union.

Mikhail Protasovich Stupishin was the navigator of the 198th assault Volkovysk Red Banner Aviation Regiment of the 223rd assault Yartsevskaya Red Banner Aviation Division of the 4th Air Army of the 2nd Belorussian Front, major.

Sergei Pavlovich Korolev was an outstanding Soviet designer and scientist, Academician of the USSR Academy of Sciences, the founder of cosmonautics and the largest specialist in the field of space shipbuilding.

The monument includes four busts of Muscovite cosmonaut pilots, twice Heroes of the Soviet Union – V.V. Lebedev, S.E. Savitskaya, A.P. Alexandrov, V.A. Solovyov.

The monument is located on the Cosmonauts Alley. It is a mockup of the Solar System.
